Hi, yes there was. I agreed them with GWR beforehand. They are quite onerous. They are different to the ones set by UMCA for the year record. Some of the requirements are: - No drafting - Only one bike can be used - Ride must be video-ed and many photos have to be taken. - Witnesses have to sign a log book to prove when/where you are during the day - Two independent witnesses required for the whole event - GPS log of route. - Overall you have to prove that you climbed more or the same as you descended. I'm hoping that if other people look at the rules they'll decide that it's too much hassle and they won't attempt to break my record!
